This is my second blog.

My first blog chronicled my experiences over three years caring for my dad as he lived through and finally died from Alzheimer's. That is the book that is for sale.

This second blog kind of chronicles of life, what it is like to start your life over in your late 50's. After caretaking, you are damaged, file bankruptcy, and the world doesn't care what you did. After 8 months of unemployment, you wake each day knowing the world doesn't want you. Finally you do find a job, 5 weeks before homelessness, but doing what you did 30 years ago and getting paid what you did 30 years ago. So this is starting over.

The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.

So, according to the latest news, a US Navy ship gets broadsided in the middle of the night by some container ship.  The container ship, it turns out, was on autopilot and the US Navy ship's radar did not pick up what the container ship apparently did; a it suddenly made hard right and went on that new route for about 3 minutes, then turn hard left and got back on course.

Now why would a ship on autopilot, suddenly make a hard turn to go straight at another ship and for some reason not appear on the radar of a ship with the top of the line radar?

I smell a hack, a test run.

Imagine one day if large ships on autopilot all diverted their courses and aimed at military, cruise, oil tankers, hey you name it, you can cause all sorts of hell.

Imagine just a little more that Russia or China can hack Navy radars and hide something as large as a container ship.
