This is my second blog.

My first blog chronicled my experiences over three years caring for my dad as he lived through and finally died from Alzheimer's. That is the book that is for sale.

This second blog kind of chronicles of life, what it is like to start your life over in your late 50's. After caretaking, you are damaged, file bankruptcy, and the world doesn't care what you did. After 8 months of unemployment, you wake each day knowing the world doesn't want you. Finally you do find a job, 5 weeks before homelessness, but doing what you did 30 years ago and getting paid what you did 30 years ago. So this is starting over.

The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.

When Carter lost to Reagan in 1980, I was at work.  Lots of people depressed at work, waitresses mostly, but nobody needed a time out, a coloring book and play dough to work thru it.  We probably just hung out at the bar after work and got drunk, then woke up the next day and went on with our lives.

College students then.

Now, apparently, not making this up my imaginary millions of readers, but they seriously were given coloring books and play dough to work thru their feelings.  And then they go out, block traffic, break windows of small business owners, burn cars, and beat the crap out of white people.

Spoiled little brats - if you ever needed more evidence that not spanking your kids when they were young and did something wrong, just look at these 'little kids' acting like 5 year olds in a grocery store when mommy won't let them have a candy bar.

And god forbid someone point out to school psychologists and sociologists that maybe raising a generation where 'no body loses' might not have been such a good idea??????

Trump's first day in office should pass a law allowing adults to spank college age kids who didn't learn the lesson when they were five.  Or how about police with paddles, just lining up the protestors, make them touch their toes and smack their asses with the paddle with the holes in it to prevent air pressure from slowing down impact.

Back in 1960, the Yankees played the Pirates in the world series - yes, this is going somewhere, just be patient - and it is considered one of the great world series' in history.  Pirates won 4 games to 3, but what was special was the Yankees outscored the Pirates in the series like twice as many runs.  See, the Pirates won each game by a run, but got clobbered by 8, 10, 12 runs in the three losses so the Yankees ended up with twice as many runs but lost.

I suppose these Hillary protestors think it would have been fair to award the WS to the Yankees since they got the most runs.

Here is the thing, once again.  Take out CA and Trump wins the popular vote by 2m as well as an Electoral College slaughter.  Add the CA votes which totaled more than twice just about every other state in the union, and Hillary wins the popular vote by 1/2 million.

But that is not fair!

Spank the brat.

It is fair, it's the rules, the rules are there to prevent  a few states dictating to the rest of the country how they are going to live - same reason CA as two senators and WY has two senators - so it's equal. Balanced, think yoga spoiled little brats.

Now people are publicly, which is against the law but then this is Obama where there is no law worthy of his attention, but now people are saying that they should kill Trump before the Electoral College votes in December so they have to elect Hillary.

Hey, Electoral College voters, think about this.  If Trump is shot and if you do then vote for Hillary rather than Pence, then every four years the president elect in early November will need to be immediately moved to a secret underground bunker for six weeks because the opposition will always try to kill the winner so their candidate gets in.

Spoiled little brats with whiskers and the right to drink and vote.  Kids that were raised in day care, never spanked for misbehavior, played games with no winners or losers, spent their lives texting rather than having conversations and now they are adults and totally unprepared for the reality of living.  Like a generation of schizophrenics that one moment wake up from the fantasy and realize reality isn't anything like the fantasy.

I wonder, in four years, if we do have a job boom, and all these kids can find jobs that don't involve name tags and latte's, if they will appreciate Trump or if they will just think one thing has nothing to do with the other.  And will they ever realize how close this country was coming to a shooting war with Russia where all those little spoiled brats would have been drafted and sent to fight in a war and been shocked to discover after being shot, there was no reset button to start the game over again.

How unfair would that have been, you can almost see them complaining to God at the gates of Heaven and telling Him how screwed up he is and how unfair it is and demand a recount.

 Forest fire, coming this way
You decide which way to run
I know i'll be running for it
cause its gonna catch us anyway

And i'll prepare myself for what could be
the greatest fire of the century
and if this place should burn
then i'm ready to go
no way i wont have to face it on my own

I'll be standing, on the corner waiting
for the sky to open up
I know it could be any moment
and its gonna take all that i am

And i'll prepare myself for what could be
the greatest fire of the century
and if this place should burn
then i'm ready to go
no way i wont have to face it on my own

And i'll prepare myself for what could be
the greatest fire of the century
and if this place should burn
then i'm ready to go
no way i wont have to face this on my own
