A MIND FOREVER VOYAGING THROUGH STRANGE SEAS OF THOUGHT, ALONE

This is my second blog.

My first blog chronicled my experiences over three years caring for my dad as he lived through and finally died from Alzheimer's. That is the book that is for sale.

This second blog kind of chronicles of life, what it is like to start your life over in your late 50's. After caretaking, you are damaged, file bankruptcy, and the world doesn't care what you did. After 8 months of unemployment, you wake each day knowing the world doesn't want you. Finally you do find a job, 5 weeks before homelessness, but doing what you did 30 years ago and getting paid what you did 30 years ago. So this is starting over.

The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.

SERIOUSLY? REALLY?

I get an email yesterday from a friend with 'Things You Didn't Know', most of which I actually did, but there was one that said a compressed spring weighs more than the same spring uncompressed.  When I went to bed, I started thinking about that, and an hour later gave up trying to sleep and got up and spent two hours looking it up and discovering I'm still not sure.

Technically, it does, but the amount is so minute that I can't believe I spent two hours in the middle of the night studying it.  Something like .00001 milligrams - but takes 90 terrajoules of energy to get that weight.  The a-bomb in WWII was 67 terajoules.

You know, E=mc2 which becomes m=E/c2.  Isn't this fascinating?  Can you believe I only have about 10 readers left?

So technically, theoretically, it's true, but since no spring could handle that amount of energy, in reality it's no.  But at least I could go to sleep wiser in knowing something of total uselessness.

I've got this gut feeling and it's not a good one.

Are we seriously going to be looking at a Clinton versus Bush election?

I mean are the republicans that devoid of better candidates?  Walker of WI is a great choice.  Perry of Texas, man there must be a dozen republican governors or ex governors that could run - new blood, new ideas, and not a baby boomer.  Well, some are baby boomers I guess like Perry.

Let's face it; Bill Clinton, George Bush, Barak Obama - the baby boomer presidents - talk about a record of a sleezy sellout, a cowboy sellout, and a Manchurian sellout.  Enough of my generation in the white house.  Time to see if Gen X can do better, hey, who is kidding who, how could they be worse.

Really, how could it be worse?  Go back to 1992 and compare to today. A buck then is worth 59 cents today.  That is a 41% drop in the value of a dollar?  Millions of manufacturing jobs, unemployment was low, the participation of the workforce was high.  America was strong, the middle class was strong and affluent.  Twenty three years of baby boomers and the jobs are gone, the illegal aliens are flooding the country, the broken up Soviet Union is back and stronger than ever, China is now partners with Russia, along with India and Brazil.

But Starbucks is hiring.

I mean, baby boomers have really screwed this country up beyond repair.  And now we are going to get a choice of Bush or Clinton?

Jeb is out there wanting more illegal aliens while more and more americans are out of work - that right there should kill his chances of getting the nomination but the big money is going to him and who knows.  By the way, did you see the latest employment numbers?  Unemployment 5.5%?  Do you believe it?  270,000 some new jobs.  Of course, they dropped another 360,000 or so off the unemployment so consequently there is really a drop of 90k jobs.

I hate math.  It's like this big lie that too many people are too mathematically stupid to understand.  Compliments of 30 years of baby boomer teachers and educators dumbing down the american youth.

Another Bush in the white house?  That is the republican answer to this mess?

And Hillary.  Where do I start.  First of all, if she really was so great, why wasn't she nominated and elected in 2008 - oh yea, the great speaking Obama proved you put enough cliches in enough sentences enough times you can hypnotize the masses - not that Hitler hadn't already proved that little fact.

So, besides a husband whom the media just wants to continue to ignore his relationship with the billionaire, his private jets, and the underage girls where he flew and traveled to the island of Dr. Pervert over a dozen times.  I mean it is bad enough the guy is just sleazy creepy, now he is a pedophile sleazy creepy.

But now we have Hillary and email.  Turns out, in violation of the law, she kept an email server setup in her home in NY where she used private email while she was a senator and Sec of State which is illegal - not that doing illegal things ever was a problem for the Clintons.  Jeepers, did you see the video of Hillary, as a senator, blasting some republican in the Bush admin for using private email and now she was using her own private email server and when they demanded all those emails over Benghazi, she never mentioned that private server and didn't turn over any of those emails.

It is illegal.

Now stories coming out this week will show the millions and millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation from middle east - read Arab sources - supposedly to an organization designed to help women rights around the globe - funded by the very powers that be in countries that have the worst records of human rights abuses, especially towards women.

Ask yourself, can we really go thru another 4 or 8 years of the Clintons?  Seriously, Really?

Build a new house down by the sea
Get to the place we were meant to be
You'll know it when you smile

Up at the window, searchin' the sky
Looking for the rainbow and don't ask my
I wanna see the rainbow come
Hey

We'll be leaving on all sides, hmmm
When the rainbow comes

Mr. Postman, look and see
If there's a message in your bag for me
Could be a bomb or it could be a letter
It don't matter, it can only get better
Mr. Postman, look and see
If there's a message in your bag for me
You know it's been such a long, long time
Since I could laugh at this world of mine
Yeah, yeah

Slippin' and slidin' around in your head
It's be-bop-a-lula then baby you're dead
So c'mon make a bright new day

I need a prayer here, need a blessing
Cast an eye back as you run
Turn around boy, see the rainbow come
